Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has approved the appointment of 23 persons as Special Advisers (SAs) and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) to the state government.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued on Wednesday in Enugu by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia.
According to the statement, Chukwudi Ezinwa was appointed Special Adviser on Labour Union and Association Matters, while Sunday Nnamani (Orlando) was appointed Special Adviser on Special Duties.
Other Special Advisers appointed by the governor are Williams Chukwu, Agriculture; Prince Afam Agana, Infrastructure Compliance; Humphrey Onyima, Investment Strategy and Public Relations; Tony Ugwu, Rural Development; Chief Ernest Nweze, Party Coordination and Mobilisation; Emeka Onunze, Monitoring and Evaluation; and Robinson Odo, Labour and Productivity.
The governor also approved the appointment of 14 Senior Special Assistants.
They are Pastor Kenneth Asogwa, Heritage and Community Relations; Pastor Tochukwu Ogbodo, Social Engagement; Lucky Chukwu, Public Affairs; Belonwu Nnaji, Cultural Orientation; Steve Odo, Tourism; Francis Ede, Public Communications; Sunny Okafor, General Duties; Chinedu Otaka, Social Orientation and Mobilisation; Otaba Ikechukwu, Protection of Public Utilities; and Pius Okeagu, Assets Management.
Others are Innocent Ugwu, Inter-Party Affairs; Eucharia Offor, Human Resource Management; Kenneth Oforma, Policy and Communication; and Kelvin Ede, Research and Strategy.
Onyia said the appointments took immediate effect.
