Foremost socio-cultural group, the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has appointed Dr. Abdurrahaman Aminu Anas as its Director of Planning and Programmes.
A letter by NEF Convener and former Vice Chancellor, Professor Ango Abduullahi, CON, states, “On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Management, I write to most
respectfully notify you of your meritorious nomination to serve as Director
Planning and Programmes of this highly reputable Forum of Northern
Elders.”
“We hardly need to restate, that, your nomination to this honourable position, is without any doubt, the outcome of our own appreciation of your very outstanding leadership qualities, nobility of your character and the record of selfless sacrifices to the cause of the nation in general and the North, in particular.”
Dr. Anas obtained a PhD in Public Administration and Policy Analysis of the University of Abuja in 2018, and proceeded to Aberystwyth University, Wales, United Kingdom for another PhD in Management in 2021.
Until this appointment, Dr. Anas was into business, having retired from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund) in 2020 as the Director of Administration and Personnel.
Dr. Amin Anas is a notable philantropist, social organiser and community leader.
