Oyo APC Chairman Dies

The All Progressives Congress Chairman in Oyo State, Hon. Isaac Omodewu is dead. He reportedly died in the United States of America on Sunday, 16th August, 2024. Details of his death are still unknown at the moment, however, there have been speculations surrounding his health within the party in recent times. It was reported that Omodewu was critically ill and was admitted to a United States hospital late last year. The APC Public Secretary in Oyo state, Wale Sadare, confirmed his death to Channels Television in a telephone conversation on Monday. According to him, Omodewu died in the early hours of Sunday at the age of 61. Sadare added that the deceased had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the U.S. but eventually lost the battle to the cold hands of death. He added that the family is yet to come up with burial plans.
